I use only high quality threads. 100%
Signature cotton thread works very well. I have a large selection of colors
on hand. Wears well, is soft and matches fibers used in quilt tops well.
I
stock an assortment of variegated polyester, and monofilament (clear and
smoky) nylon threads. Some of these threads tend to be more expensive, but
may provide just the look you are trying to achieve.
My
thread prices are multiplied by the number of bobbins used times the price
for the thread selected. Solid colors of cotton cost $1.00 per bobbin. High
sheen polyester, variegated, and other specialty threads will cost $1.50
per bobbin.
I
will be happy to consider a special request. If I do not feel it will hold
up during high-speed quilting or work satisfactorily I will help you choose
a thread that will.
